Mon 11/10/15 to 20/10/15 - Heavy artillery bombardments by both sides and growing more intense each day. Must be something in the wind.
Have been in the army just 12 months. It seems as if I have been in it all my life. Bulgaria is in the scrap now. J. A. Graham Furious bombardment by Abdul on our lines. He is evidentially getting ready to attack.
A Turk deserted from his lines and while coming in to us was wounded by Turks. He spent the day under a bank midway between the lines of trenches and at dusk a party of us sneaked out a rescued him just in time. A Turkish patrol was also after him. The patrols clashed and we killed two. No one hurt on our side. J. A. Graham Nothing doing excepting usual sniping and artillery duels.
Reg (brother) has arrived on Peninsula today. He looks well. J. A. Graham Furious bombardment towards Achi Baba.
Nothing unusual doing. J. A. Graham |
