Enjoyed myself in Melbourne. My chum, Suley, got measles and we were quarantined for 8 days, but broke quarantine after being in one hour and put in the term at Bull and Mouth Hotel Burke Street. Passed all exams and returned to Brisbane on 7-12-14 and transferred to C. Squadron. J. A. Transferred to Signalling Staff and left Brisbane en route for Melbourne. Passed through Sydney (Spent a few hours at Le' Avenue) and arrived Melbourne 2 days later. Much impressed with city.
