After the war, Jack Graham lived a long a fruitful life.
He was a businessman working in banking and real estate and was an active member of the community, living in Cronulla in Sydney's south.
He married Dulcie, and together they had four daughters; Joan, Audrey, Patricia and Margaret.
Jack died on 1 March 1958, forty years after he came home from the war.
Writing about Graham after his death (see below) The Observer newspaper said, "Briefly sketched, we present this portrait of J. A. Graham as soldier, businessman, sportsman and family man - a true blue Australian in every facet of his character, equally complacent in the boardroom, clubhouse, fishing launch, or with his retinue of small grandchildren."
At the time of the final entry of J.A.Graham's wardiary, (100 years after it was written), by 2018 Jack's family had grown from "a retinue of (13) small grandchildren", to include 32 great-grandchildren and 50 great-great grandchildren.
